HELP - What is Validation?

Validation is the process you must go through, between registering your details, and logging in to use cabcards. As the internet is a wild and open environment, we need to make sure that each registration is authentic. For some, inexplicable reason, there are hackers out there who seem intent on developing automated scripts to register for websites with the aim of exploiting them.

This means that we have a set of principles which we are sticking to, and we want you to respect. In turn this will provide a safe and effective resource for you.

After you register, we send you a validation code. This code is sent to the email address that you used to register, and as an extra barrier, we only allow one registration per email address.

When you first login to the site, before you can do anything meaningful within the CabCards user area, we require you to enter the validation code we emailed to you. This will confirm to us that you do own the email address that you registered with, and that you have sucessfully registered with us.

You will not be required to validate again, unless you request a new password.
